Gestern hat Adobe eine öffentliche Beta von Lightroom in der Version 3 veröffentlicht. Jeder kann sich die Software herunterladen und bis April 2010 benutzen. Einzige Voraussetzung ist ein Login bei Adobe, welches jedoch kostenlos ist.

Lightroom 3 wurde vor allem in Bezug auf Performance und Bildqualität verbessert. Insbesondere wurde an der Bildqualität von Raw-Bildern mit hohen ISO-Werten gearbeitet.

Was man da sehen kann ist sehr vielversprechend. Das Farbrauschen wird nun sehr viel besser reduziert als in der Version 2. Zu beachten ist jedoch, dass der Slider für das Luminanzrauschen zur Zeit deaktiviert ist. Die Bilder sehen somit noch recht körnig aus.
